Four players expected to return to Black Stars squad for CAR game

The former Danbort FC goal poacher is the only local-based player in the Black Stars squad for the CAR showdown.

Jonathan Sowah made a significant impact by notching up an impressive tally of 12 goals in 18 matches during his inaugural season with the Mauve and Yellows.

The lethal attacker further demonstrated his prowess by securing the decisive goal for Medeama in their CAF Champions League encounter against Remo Stars in Cape Coast.

This achievement propelled Medeama to the next stage of the tournament, secured through a penalty shootout victory in Nigeria after the aggregate scoreline remained deadlocked at 1-1 after regulation time.

Ghana will need at least a point against Central African Republic to secure a qualification to the AFCON tournament in Ivory Coast.
