Ernest Nuamah is officially outdoor as Olympic Lyon player

Ernest Nuamah has officially been outdoored as Olympique Lyonnais player with the Ligue 1 side, the club has announced.

His official announcement on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, by the french giant follows passing of a mandatory medicals in the past weeks.

Lyonnais stoled a march on the handful of European clubs such as PSG, Tottenham and AFC Ajax in the race to sign the former Nordsjaelland player.

The Ghanaian international winger will wear the jersey 37 at the Les Gones.

Nuamah is expected to bolster the attacking options of  Laurent Blanc’s side following the sale of Karl Toko-Ekambi and the imminent departure of Bradley Barcola to rivals PSG.

The 19-year-old scored 20 goals and five assists in 49 games with the Superligaen side Nordsjaelland before departing.

Olympique Lyonnais also announced the signing on loan of ESTAC Troyes striker Mama Baldé earlier in addition with Nuamah’s deal.

Lyon have lost their first two Ligue 1 games, against Strasbourg and Montpellier and drawn away at OGC Nice.
