OFFICIAL: FC Samartex beat Kotoko to sign Hamadu Musa

Baba Hamadu Musa joins FC Samartex

Ghana Premier League side FC Samartex have bolstered their attack with the addition of Skyy FC forward Baba Hamadu Musa.

The highly-rated attacker has joined the Samreboi-based club on a two-year deal after a successful medical.

Hamadu Musa, formerly of Dreams FC has officially signed for FC Samartex despite being on the wanted list of Asante Kotoko and host of other clubs.

The lethal goal poacher has chosen Samartex ahead of Asante, Medeama SC and Accra Lions who were all interested in landing his signature.

Musa was very close to joining Accra Lions until FC Samartex came into the race, enticing the young forward with their spectacular project.

Hamadu Musa ended last season campaign as the highest topscorer in the division one league with twenty goals, a feat that got the attention of most Ghanaian top-flight clubs including Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko.

Baba Hamadu Musah started his footballing career at Western Region division two outfit Rail Stars Academy where he was tipped to be a great striker in the near future.

After impressing the technical handlers at Dreams FC, the former Adiembra Senior High School monstrous attacker joined the Dawu-based club in 2018 before being loaned to Skyy FC who later bought him outright.

He has been a sensation since joining Skyy FC, becoming a core figure in the team and nearly qualified the Daboase-based club to the 2023/24 season of the Ghana Premier League, losing the ticket to Nations FC.

Hamadu Musah played a pivotal role in Skyy FC’s reaching the semifinal of the last season’s FA Cup.
