Dreams FC handed a huge boost ahead of Kallon FC game

Ghana’s sole representative in the 2023/24 CAF Confederation Cup, Dreams FC has been handed a huge boost ahead of their game against Kallon FC.

The FA Cup champions will take on the Sierra Leone side Kallon FC in second phase of the final preliminary round qualication.

This was after Dreams FC had eliminated Guinean Milo FC 3-2 in a two-legged aggregate scoreline.

With this effect, Dreams FC and Kallon FC were made to face each other in the next stage of the qualifiers in the competition., can confirmed that Kallon FC will play their home game against Dreams FC away from home.

This is because the Sierra Leone outfit does not have a befiting stadium that meet CAF’s requirement to host it home matches for the inter-club competition.

According to our sources, CAF will announce an alternative home venue for Kallon FC in the coming days to host Dreams FC in their second leg clash.

But for Dreams FC, they will be able to host their opponent in the first leg tie at the Accra Sports Stadium used as its home grounds after meeting CAF’s requirements.

Dreams FC are competing in CAF’s inter-club competition for the first time after they emerged champions in the 2023/24 FA Cup.
