Asante Kotoko set to appoint another assistant coach

Ghanaian football powerhouse, Asante Kotoko are set to appoint another assistant coach according to multiple media reports.

David Ocloo has returned to Asante Kotoko as the assistant coach after leaving Hearts of Oak as the interim head coach after the 2022/23 league season.

The Porcupines currently have two assistant coaches made up of Moro Ibrahim and David Ocloo with Dr Prosper Narteh Ogum as the head coach.

But understands Moro Ibrahim has been assigned to the youth team of Asante Kotoko hence the club eagerness to appoint another assistant coach.

It is believed that Narteh Ogum prefer to work with two assistant coaches and with Moro Ibrahim assigned the youth team job, a new second assistant coach is expected to join the club in the next coming days.

Narteh Ogum did wonders at Asante Kotoko in his first stint at the club with the two assistant coaches which was made up of John Eduafo and David Ocloo

The trio teamed up to win Asante Kotoko the 2021/22 league trophy, before leaving the club due to issues with the management team led by Nana Yaw Amponsah.
