Kudus has signed a five-year contract

West Ham United have announced the signing of Ghanaian International Mohammed Kudus from Ajax in the ongoing summer transfer window.

The London-based club signed the attacking midfielder on a five-year contract for an undisclosed fee.

The deal, running until june 2028 is subject to renewal for another season.

Kudus Mohammed is now West Ham UTD player

His announcement follows passing of a mandatory medical with the English Premier League side.

The Hammers fought off intense competition from some of Europe’s leading clubs to secure the services of the exciting Ghana international attacker.

He becomes the club’s third major summer signing following his former Ajax teammate and Mexico international Edson Álvarez and England midfielder James Ward-Prowse.

Kudus who has established himself as one of European football’s most sought after young players will wear the number 14 jersey for the Hammers.

Kudus who joins Nordsjælland at the age 17 in January 2018 switched camp to Ajax in 2020 after his performance had attracted the attention of Ajax, with then head coach Erik ten Hag.

Spending three years at Ajax, the enterprising midfielder made over 60 appearances for the Dutch club scoring important goals.
