Ten players leaving Hearts of Oak

Ghanaian heavyweight, Hearts of Oak are on the verge of parting ways with about ten players ahead of the 2023/24 league season.

The former Ghana Premier League champions are shaping up their squad for the forthcoming league season with about ten players expected to leave.

According to multiple reports reaching Getsportsgh.com, the ten players will not be part of the Hearts of Oak squad for the upcoming league season.

Per the reports, the said players are Faisal Adam Billey, Hamza Mohammed, Benjamin Yorke, Francis Adjetey, Rashid Okine, Yassan Ouatching and Appiah Clinton.

Others include; Zakaria Yakubu , Gladson Awako and Samuel Inkoom.

Getsportsgh.com understands the decision has been communicated to the ten players pending official announcement.

Though Hearts of Oak have decided to offload the ten players, the club have also made new additions with former Bechem United skipper Kofi Agbesimah being the latest.

Hearts of Oak finally sign long-standing transfer target

Agbesimah who is a defender has joined the Phobians after undergoing a successful medical few days ago.

Hearts of Oak have already signed Michael Ampadu, Raphael Amponsah, Evans Adomako and Martin Karikari alongside Leventius Arthur and Kelvin Osei Asibey among others.

The Accra-based club have also recalled striker Issah Kuka from loan spell at RTU with Congolese striker Kashala Ramos Wanet also expected to sign a three-year deal.

The Phobians will begin the 2023/24 season of the Ghana Premier League with a trip to Tamale to face depleted RTU side at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium.
