Dreams FC hosts Milo FC at the Accra Sports Stadium

Chief Executive Officer of Dreams FC Mohamed Ameenu Shardow, says his side would ensure they preserve the team’s advantage to qualify to the next phase of the 2023/24 CAF Confederation Cup.

According to him, the Ghana Premier League outfit is adamant of qualifying to the second round, something he said they will avoid bottling their chances on Sunday.

The Ghana FA Cup champions side recorded a 1-1 scoreline against Milo FC of Guinea in the first-leg preliminary round of the CAF confederation Cup competition in Conakry, Guinea.

Dreams will thus host the Guinean side in Ghana at 3:00 PM on Sunday, August 27, 2023, to honour the second leg game at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Ameenu Shardow, speaking to Onua Sports ahead of the game, said with the abundant talents at their disposal headed by experience coach Karim Zito, Dreams FC will succeed in Milo FC’s downfall in Ghana.

According to the Black Stars Team Manager, the Still Believe’ boys have assured the team of achieving nothing but a result which will see them progress to the next round.

“Dreams FC will ensure Ghana get it’s slot back by at least reaching the group stage of the competition. Our players have assured us they will do the needful, so we will plead with Ghanaians to come in their numbers to support us at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday,” he said.

Ameenu Shardow used the platform and asked the general public to come and support them on Sunday and be part of the winning side.

Dreams FC has announced GHC 10 (popular stand) GHC 20 for (both lower VIP and VVIP wings) and GHC 50 for the VVIP stand as gate fees of the match ticketing.

Milo FC are expected to arrive in Ghana today, at 4:00 PM ahead of the all-important game.

The winner of the tie will face Kallon FC of Sierra Leone in the second and final round qualifiers to the group phase of the competition.
