Asante Kotoko announce signing of defender Mohammed Nurudeen

Yussif Nurudeen Mohammed joins Asante Kotoko

Ghanaian football powerhouse, Asante Kotoko have announced the capturing of highly-rated defender Yussif Nurudeen Mohammed.

The young center-back has penned down a three-year deal for Asante Kotoko after completing a mandatory medical.

Nurudeen Mohammed has signed for the former Ghana Premier League champions after ending stay at RTU.

He had a stellar season with RTU, playing 32 games and was named man of the match on three occasions.

The stalwart defender arrives with tremendous athleticism, experience, and a unique disciplinary record as he avoided booking during last season’s campaign.

Nurudeen Mohammed, who earned a call up to the Black Galaxies, told scasantekotoko.Com that, “this is a big club and a great opportunity for me to achieve my dream. I am very happy to join the family, and I look forward to winning trophies.”

He has joined the tall list of RTU players who have left the club in the ongoing transfer window alongside Sadat Mohammed.

The departure of the duo adds to the number of nine players to have also exited the club to pursue their career elsewhere.

The rest include; Yaw Osei, Kwame Boakye, Manaf Umar, Issah Kuka, Roland Frimpong, Stephen Badu Dankwah and Mathew Abayase.
