Asante Kotoko to sign three sponsorship deals

Ghanaian heavyweight, Asante Kotoko have reached an agreement with three companies to renew their sponsorship agreements, can exclusively report.

This comes after the interim management committee of the club led by Kontomponiaferehene Nana Apinkra Akwasi Awua and James Kwesi Appiah visited the leadership of the companies for a discussion.

The three brands had their sponsorship deals with Asante Kotoko coming to an end after the Nana Yaw Amponsah-led management team had their three-year mandate expiring.

The three companies are expected to pen a new contract with Asante Kotoko before the commencement of the 2023/24 league season, understands.

Meanwhile, Asante Kotoko are also in talks with mining firm Newmont Ghana to become a sponsor of the club.

It is believed that Asante Kotoko owner Otumfuo Osei Tutu II is leading the discussions with Newmont Ghana with talks in the advanced stage.

These forms part of the Asante Kotoko revolutionary period following the departure of the immediate-past board members led by astute businessman Dr Kwame Kyei.
