Prosper Nartey seek for Asante Kotoko forgiveness

Head Coach of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Prosper Nartey Ogum, has rendered an unqualified apology to the club, asking for forgiveness from the Ghana Premier League powerhouse.

The tactician apology is in line with his departure from the club following his spell with the team.

Ogum joined the fabulous before the start of the 2021/22 league season and led them to the league title becoming the porcupines first GPL title since 2013.

Having joined from WAFA, he unexpectedly exited the club which sparks controversy for allegedly being on loggerheads with former management of the team led by Nana Yaw Amponsah.

In a U-turn, Ogum have returned to the team following the intervention of Life Patron of Asante Kotoko, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.

Despite the circumstances surrounding his exit from the club, the gaffer admitted his action affected large number of people associated with the fraternity of the Kotoko brand.

Therefore, he is asking for forgiveness and let bygones be bygone amid seeking for a common goal going into the future.

“What I want to add up is that I came and left in my first coming – something I believe many were unsatisfied with the way I existed. Though I haven’t commented on it, Kotoko is a big entity so I will cease this opportunity and apologise for that.

On that score whosoever I offended in the process of my decision should let go off it and forgive me because I’m a human being and definitely I will err,” Dr. Prosper Nartey Ogum.

He added “If we stay together as one family, the fabulous entity will be unbeatable… so let’s head up, chest out and save our fabulous.”

Nartey Ogum made the appealed whiles commenting on his exit for the first time ahead of his new adventure with Kotoko.
