Bechem United defender Kofi Agbesimah has landed in Accra to complete Hearts of Oak medical, has learnt.

The workaholic defender will be undergoing Hearts of Oak medical today, August 23, 2023 before signing for the Phobians.

Kofi Agbesimah’s imminent medicals come on the back of fruitful negotiations between Hearts of Oak and Bechem United over the player’s transfer.

The deal, Bechem United wanted GHC100,000 from the defender’s sale however Hearts of Oak demanded to pay GHC50,000 for the player who has a month left on his contract.

Agbesimah will sign two-year contract subject to renewal for another year, can state categorically.

His addition to the rainbow club will be a boost to their defensive ranks following the exist of dependable defenders such as Caleb Amankwah and Robert Addo.

He will be working under Dutch trainer, Martin Koopman who was appointed recently as the club new head coach ahead of the start of the new season in September.
