Kofi Agbesimah set for Hearts of Oak medical – Check Details

Bechem United defender Kofi Agbesimah is on verge on completing a move to Accra Hearts of Oak, sources has learned.

The workaholic defender is ready to travel to Accra where he will undergo a mandatory medical on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, prior to signing for the Phobians.

Kofi Agbesimah’s imminent medicals come on the back of fruitful negotiations between Hearts of Oak and Bechem United over the player’s transfer.

The deal, Bechem United wanted GHC100,000 from the defender’s sale however Hearts of Oak demanded to pay GHC50,000 for the player who has a month left on his contract.

Abgesimah will sign two-year contract subject to renewal for another year, can state categorically.

His addition to the rainbow club will be a boost to their defensive ranks following the exist of dependable defenders such as Caleb Amankwah and Robert Addo.

He will become the latest addition to the Accra-based club after Michael Ampadu, Raphael Amponsah, Evans Adomako and Martin Karikari alongside Leventus Arthur and Kelvin Osei Asibey among others.

Pending completion of the medicals and an official announcement, Kofi Abgesimah will join his yet-to-be colleagues for the team’s ongoing pre-season training at Pobiman in Accra.

He will be working under Dutch trainer, Martin Koopman who was appointed recently as the club new head coach ahead of the start of the new season in September.
