Roland Frimpong joins Bibiani Goldstars

Ghanaian outfit Bibiani Goldstars have completed the signing of talented forward Roland Frimpong in the ongoing transfer window.

According to Ghanaian local football transfer expert Mohammed Shaban, Frimpong has signed a two-year deal for Bibiani Goldstars after completing a mandatory medical.

Roland Frimpong has joined the Bibiani-based club on free transfer after leaving RTU.

Frimpong was instrumental for RTU and played a pivotal role in the team’s premier league survival last season.

He is currently on his way to Sefwi-Bekwai for Bibiani Goldstars pre-season training.

Roland Frimpong is expected to give strength to the Bibiani Goldstars attack in the Ghana Premier League next season.

Meanwhile, Bibiani Goldstars are also close to landing the signature of former Hearts of Oak defender William Dankyi.

Per Getsportsgh.com reliable source, William Dankyi has reached verbal agreement with Bibiani Goldstars after a contact was made to his camp earlier this week.

The 23-year old is expected to finalize the deal next week before joining the club for pre-season.

The former Liberty Professionals left-back is joining Bibiani Goldstars after leaving Egyptian outfit Shabab Al Obour.

Dankyi’s experience is expected to help Bibiani Goldstars to maintain their premier league status next season.

The defender, who also plays as midfielder boast of enough experience in the domestic league after helping Hearts of Oak to one league title and two FA Cups before leaving in July, 2022.

Dankyi played for the Ghana U-17 football team from 2012 to 2014 and was a member of the squad that played in the 2013 African U-17 Championship.

He was later promoted to the Ghana U-20 team featuring for 2016 to 2018.

Dankyi was given his first call up in 2016, ahead of the 2017 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations qualifiers.

He became a member of the squad that played in the 2019 Africa U-23 Cup of Nations qualifiers, Ghana subsequently qualified for the main competition after scoring Algeria.

In November, 2019, William Dankyi was selected to be part of the Ghana U-23 football team ahead of the 2019 Africa U-23 Cup of Nations in Egypt.
