Augustine Okrah set for Bechem United return

The former Asante Kotoko player is training with the hunters, sources available to its desk suggest that Augustine Okrah could make a return to Bechem United ahead of the next football season.

The former Asante Kotoko attacker, we understand is training with the hunters in their ongoing preseason pending a return to his former side.

Okrah, after helping the hunters reach the finals of the 2021/22 FA Cup left the shores of Ghana to pitch camp with Tanzanian side Simba SC on a two-year contract.

However, things did not go well as planned at the Tanzanian powerhouse with the winger back to the country in search of a club.

According to our sources, management of the Ghana Premier side have expressed interest in their former talisman for a possible reunion.

All things being equal, Augustine Okrah will sign for Bechem United before the start of the 2024 – which will become the second time he is rejoining the club.

Meanwhile, other reports suggest that newly promoted side Nations FC have also expressed interest to acquire the services of the experienced winger.

Augustine Okrah, during his debut season with Bechem United in the 2013/14 league season scored 16 goals to emerged as the top scorer of the season.

He later moved to Swedish side BK Hacken before switching camp to Sudanese outfit Al Merreikh the following year. A year after, he crossed carpet to rivals Al Hilal Omdurman.
