Kurt Okraku is backing Medeama for Remo Stars downfall

President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Kurt Okraku has charged Medeama SC not to leave any stone unturned in their game against Remo Stars of Nigeria.

According to the GFA capo, the Ghanaian champions must prove their campions status by defeating their Nigerian counterpart at the Cape Coast stadium today.

Mr. Okraku’s backing is in line with Medeama’s first leg of the preliminary round of the 2023/24 Caf Champions League against Remo Stars in Ghana. They will travel to Nigeria for the second leg a week after.

Speaking to the team ahead of today’s clash, the GFA president believes the qualities of the Ghanaian champions is well enough to beat their counterpart.

“I have no doubt that we have the best of talent presence tonight representing Medeama SC, the talent that we have here must show on the pitch when we meet our opponent tomorrow.

I believe that the technical team led by the very experience Mr. Adotey have put in the right levels of energy and has ensure that the team is ready,” Kurt Okraku said whiles delivering his message to the team on Saturday night.

The GFA boss furthered and charged team Medeama SC to go all out and prove a point why they deserve to represent Ghana in the Caf champions league.

“So, we have to go out very confidence that you deserve to win the league and you deserve to compete in Africa and indeed you are competitive,” he challenged.

The game is scheduled to kick off at 15:00GMT at the Cape Coast stadium.
