The 21-year old has become a subject of interest for Asante Kotoko who are strengthening squad for the 2023/24 league season.

Per reports reaching Getsportsgh.com, the deal is in the final stages as the highly-talented midfielder is bent on joining the Porcupines.

Barring any last-minute change, Baba Yahaya is expected to sign for Asante Kotoko in the next coming days on free transfer following the expiration of his contract with King Faisal Football Club.

He was impressive for King Faisal last season despite the team’s failure to maintain it’s premiership status.

Should the deal materialized, Baba Yahaya will join the Asante Kotoko midfield that boast of Richmond Lamptey, Justice Blay, Rashid Nortey, Eric Zeze and host of other talented players.
