Meanwhile, Bofoakwa Tano FC are also expected to complete the re-signing of defender Andrews Appau on a free transfer.

As earlier reported, Appau has reached the apex of negotiations with Bofoakwa Tano FC and expected to sign for his former club once Asante Kotoko complete his release.

The 20-year is set to make a return to Bofoakwa Tano FC as a free agent with his contract with Asante Kotoko set to be terminated.

Andrews Appau has been deemed surplus to requirements by new Asante Kotoko coach Prosper Narteh Ogum hence the player’s decision to return to Bofoakwa Tano FC.

Appau joined Asante Kotoko on a four-year deal from Bofoakwa Tano FC in October, 2020.

He was part of the Asante Kotoko squad that won the Ghana Premier League title two seasons ago under coach Prosper Narteh Ogum.
