Ghana Premier League returnees, Bofoakwa Tano FC are set complete the re-signing of Asante Kotoko defender Andrews Appau, can exclusively reveal. can authoritatively confirm that Appau has agreed personal terms with Bofoakwa Tano FC with the move almost a done deal.

The 20-year is making a return to Bofoakwa Tano FC as a free agent with his contract with Asante Kotoko set to be terminated.

Andrews Appau has been deemed surplus to requirements by new Asante Kotoko coach Prosper Narteh Ogum hence the player’s decision to return to Bofoakwa Tano FC.

Appau joined Asante Kotoko on a four-year deal from Bofoakwa Tano FC in October, 2020.

He was part of the Asante Kotoko squad that won the Ghana Premier League title two seasons ago under coach Prosper Narteh Ogum.

Appau has become the latest player to leave Asante Kotoko in the ongoing transfer window after Mohammed Alhassan, Dickson Afoakwa, Samuel Boateng and Charles Owusu.

The former Ghana Premier League champions have also parted ways with winger Joseph Amoako who was suspended indefinitely over an altercation with a club supporter on Facebook.

With all these players leaving, Asante Kotoko have made new additions to bolster squad for the forthcoming league season.

The Porcupine Warriors have signed former Susubiribi Sporting Club defender Yahaya Dawuni, Nanabayin Amoah from Venomous Vipers, Andrews Ntim Manu formerly of Legon Cities FC and Bofoakwa Tano FC defender Samuel Asamoah.

Asante Kotoko have also completed the signing of Berekum Chelsea duo of Henry Ansu and Kalo Quattara.
