OFFICIAL: Asante Kotoko announce signing of Kalo Quattara

Kalo Quattara completes Asante Kotoko move

Ghanaian football powerhouse, Asante Kotoko have announced the capturing of Berekum Chelsea striker Kalo Quattara.

As broke the news few days ago, Kalo Quattara has penned down a three-year deal for Asante Kotoko after a successful medical.

A club’s statement reads, “We’re pleased to confirm the signing of striker, Kalo Ouattara from Berekum Chelsea on a three-year deal.”

Quattara has become Asante Kotoko fourth signing under coach Prosper Narteh Ogum in the ongoing transfer window.

The former Ghana Premier League champions have already signed former Susubiribi Sporting Club defender Yahaya Dawuni alongside Nanabayin Amoah from Venomous Vipers and midfielder Andrews Ntim Manu on three-year deal each.

With Kalo Quattara deal done, Asante Kotoko are also expected to announce the acquisition of defender Henry Ansu also from Berekum Chelsea.

Meanwhile, Asante Kotoko as part of making room for the new additions, have reportedly parted ways with eleven players.

The players include; Abdul Rafiu Yakubu, Maxwell Agyemang, Andrews Appau, Mohammed Alhassan, Solomon Sarfo Taylor and Samuel Boateng.

Others are Ernest Osei Opoku, Evans Adomako, Clinton Opoku, Charles Owusu and Dickson Afoakwa.
