Eric Zeze confident Asante Kotoko will win next season league

Asante Kotoko midfielder, Serge Eric Zeze is optimistic the club win lift the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League title.

The Porcupines won the league title two seasons ago but couldn’t defend the title, losing it to Medeama SC in the 2022/23 league season.

And despite a topsy-turvy campaign last season, Eric Zeze who joined Asante Kotoko in August, 2022 believes the club will reclaim the league title in the 2023/24 league season.

“This season, Asante Kotoko will take the Ghana League and win plenty trophies”, Eric Zeze said in a video posted on social media.

Eric Zeze was instrumental for Asante Kotoko last season despite the team going the season without a trophy. The Ivorian midfielder netted three goals in 24 matches for Asante Kotoko last season.

Kotoko have already begun pre-season training at Beposo Park.

As part of strengthening squad for the forthcoming league campaign, Asante Kotoko have officially made three new additions to the squad ahead of the 2023/24 league season.

The Ghanaian football powerhouse have officially signed former Susubiribi Sporting Club defender Yahaya Dawuni alongside Nanabayin Amoah from Venomous Vipers and midfielder Andrews Ntim Manu on three-year deal each.

And to make room for new additions, Asante Kotoko have reportedly parted ways with eleven players.

The players include; Abdul Rafiu Yakubu, Maxwell Agyemang, Andrews Appau, Mohammed Alhassan, Solomon Sarfo Taylor and Samuel Boateng.

Others are Ernest Osei Opoku, Evans Adomako, Clinton Opoku, Charles Owusu and Dickson Afoakwa…
