Joyce Asamoah complete move to Italian side

The former Fabulous Ladies defender joins from Bologna

Ghanaian female footballer, Joyce Nana Asamoah has completed a move to Italian side Associazione Calcio Pavia Società Sportiva Dilettantistica better known as Pavia Academy SSD.

The former Fabulous Ladies defender joins the ‘Eccellenza League’, also called Serie E as a free agent following contract expiration with Bologna in the just ended season.

The inclusion of the 23-year-old to the ‘Blue and White’ give the club options for selection due to her dynamisms with great temperament.

She can play multiple roles, both defensively and in the central area of the field.

“Arrives in Pavia Joyce Asamoah. A dynamic player of great temperament, she can play multiple roles, both defensively and in the central area of the field,” the club announced in an official statement available to Getsportsgh.com.

The club also wished the Ghanaian International a “good luck” on her “new adventure.”

Joyce Nana Asamoah made more than 30 appearances for Bologna in the Serie C championship in the previous season and helped them secure promotion to the Serie B.

Associazione Calcio Pavia Società Sportiva Dilettantistica, or more simply Pavia, is an Italian female football club, based in Pavia, Lombardy following its formation in 1911.

They play their home matches at the Stadio Pietro Fortunati in Pavia with a capacity of 4, 999.
