Ghanaian giants, Asante Kotoko are set to announce the signing of Bofoakwa Tano FC right-back Samuel Asamoah according transfer expert Mohammed Shaban.

Asamoah has reportedly landed in Kumasi to undergo Asante Kotoko medical before his official announcement.

The highly-talented defender was left out of Bofoakwa Tano FC squad for pre-season with a move to Asante Kotoko very imminent.

Samuel Asamoah is known for his defensive prowess, and touted to reach the very apex of his career considering the enormous talent that he boast of.

He will give strength to the Asante Kotoko defense for the 2023/24 league season should the deal materialized.

In other developing news, Asante Kotoko are set to announce the capturing of Berekum Chelsea duo of Henry Ansu and Kalo Quattara.

As earlier reported by, the two players have completed medicals for Asante Kotoko, pending official announcement.

Henry Ansu is a highly-rated defender expected to give enough agility and solidity to the Asante Kotoko defense while Kalo Quattara is expected to form a solid partnership with Steven Mukwala Dese in attack.

The former Ghana Premier League champions have already announced three new signings to their squad in the ongoing transfer window.

The Porcupine Warriors have officially announced the signing of Susubiribi Sporting Club defender Yahaya Dawuni, Nanabayin Amoah formerly of Venomous Vipers and midfielder Andrews Ntim Manu on three-year deal each.

Coach Prosper Narteh Ogum and his charges have already commenced pre-season training at Beposo Park in the Ashanti Region.
