Ethiopian Commercial Bank sign Ghanaian duo

Ghanaian duo of Caleb Amankwah and Umar Bashiru have completed move to Ethiopian Commercial Bank FC.

The two players have signed a permanent deal for the Ethiopian top-flight side after fruitful medicals.

The duo have joined Ethiopian Commercial Bank FC on free transfer.

Umar Bashiru, formerly of Karela United and Asante Kotoko has joined Ethiopian Commercial Bank FC after leaving Ethiopian Insurance FC after the just ended league season.

Caleb Amankwah has also signed for Ethiopian Commercial Bank after leaving Ghanian football powerhouse Hearts of Oak.

He left the Ghanaian football powerhouse following the expiration of his contract in May this year.

Amankwah departed Hearts of Oak despite several attempts on the part of the club for contract renewal.

He was an important figure for Hearts of Oak since his arrival, and was very instrumental for the Phobians in the just-ended league season despite the team’s abysmal performance.

Amankwah played over 20 matches for the former Ghana Premier League champions, scoring four goals as a defender.
