OFFICIAL: Asante Kotoko announce signing of Andrews Ntim Manu

Andrews Ntim Manu has joined Asante Kotoko untill 2026

Ghanaian giants, Asante Kotoko have announced the capturing of highly-rated midfielder Andrews Ntim Manu in the ongoing transfer window.

Ntim Manu has signed a three-year deal for Asante Kotoko after a successful medical on Thursday, August 10, 2023.

“We have completed the signing of defensive midfielder, Andrews Ntim Manu on a free transfer on a contract running until 2026”, Asante Kotoko statement announcing the signing of the young midfielder reads.

Andrews Ntim Manu has become the third signing of Asante Kotoko under coach Prosper Narteh Ogum after Dawuni Yahaya formerly of Susubiribi Sporting Club and Nanabayin Amoah from Venomous Vipers.

Ntim Manu is reuniting with Narteh Ogum after working together at WAFA SC sometime ago.

The former Legon Cities FC midfielder is expected to strengthen the Asante Kotoko midfield following the departure of skipper Richard Boadu.

Despite making new additions to the squad, Asante Kotoko have reportedly parted ways with eleven players who have been deemed surplus to requirements by coach Prosper Narteh Ogum.

The eleven players have been told to search for a new club before the commencement of the 2023/24 season of the Ghana Premier league in September.

The players include; Abdul Rafiu Yakubu, Maxwell Agyemang, Andrews Appau, Mohammed Alhassan, Solomon Sarfo Taylor and Samuel Boateng.

Others are Ernest Osei Opoku, Evans Adomako, Clinton Opoku, Charles Owusu and Dickson Afoakwa.

Meanwhile, Asante Kotoko have commenced pre-season training at Beposo Park in the Ashanti Region ahead of the forthcoming league season…
