CONFIRMED: Nanabayin Amoah completes Asante Kotoko move

Nanabayin Amoah joins Asante Kotoko

Ghanaian giants, Asante Kotoko have announced the capturing of highly-talented defender Nanabayin Amoah on a permanent deal.

The enterprising left-back has joined the Porcupine Warriors on a three-year deal after passing a mandatory medical.

Nanabayin Amoah has signed for Asante Kotoko after an impeccable form for lower-tier side Venomous Vipers.

A club’s statement reads, “We’re delighted to announce the signing of left-back, Nanabayin Amoah on a three-year deal from Venomous Vipers.”

Nanabayin Amoah has become the latest addition to the Asante Kotoko squad after Yahaya Dawuni.

Dawuni has joined Asante Kotoko on a three-year deal after fruitful medical.

The bulky defender has joined Asante Kotoko from lower-tier side Susubiribi Sporting Club.

The two signings are to strengthen the Asante Kotoko defense ahead of the 2023/24 league season.

Both Nanabayin Amoah and Yahaya Dawuni have joined the Asante Kotoko teammates for pre-season training at Beposo in the Ashanti Region. understands, as part of squad planning, the former Ghana Premier League champions have reportedly parted ways with eleven players over uninspiring performance.

The players include; Abdul Rafiu Yakubu, Maxwell Agyemang, Andrews Appau, Mohammed Alhassan, Solomon Sarfo Taylor and Samuel Boateng.

Others are Ernest Osei Opoku, Evans Adomako, Clinton Opoku, Charles Owusu and Dickson Afoakwa…
