Asante Kotoko to sign defender Samuel Asamoah

Ghanaian powerhouse, Asante Kotoko are inch closer from signing talented defender Samuel Asamoah from Bofoakwa Tano FC.

Getsportsgh.com can exclusively report that the enterprising right-back could join Asante Kotoko in the next coming days as negotiations between the two clubs have reached the apex.

It is believed that Samuel Asamoah has been excluded from Bofoakwa Tano FC pre-season training in Obuasi ahead of a move to Asante Kotoko.

Asamoah is highly known for his defensive prowess, and touted to reach the apex of his career considering the talent he boast of.

He has been deemed as perfect addition to the Asante Kotoko defense ahead of the 2023/24 league season.

Meanwhile, Asante Kotoko have announced the acquisition of defender Yahaya Dawuni on a three-year deal.

Dawuni has joined Asante Kotoko from lower-tier side Susubiribi Sporting Club following his spectacular form for the club.

The bulky defender is Asante Kotoko official signing under coach Dr Prosper Narteh Ogum.

Asante Kotoko have commenced pre-season at Nsuta in the Ashanti Region. The Porcupine Warriors are preparing for the upcoming league season, training at the Beposo Park.
