OFFICIAL: Dreams FC sign former Ismaily striker John Antwi

John Antwi has joined Dreams FC

Ghanaian outfit, Dreams FC have announced the acquisition of former Ismaily goal poacher John Antwi Duku.

The 31-year old has returned to Dreams FC after ending his stay with Jordanian club Al Faisaly.

His addition comes as huge boost for Dreams FC who will be competing in the 2023/24 CAF Confederation Cup campaign.

“Dreams FC is delighted to announce and welcome back ex-Black Stars and Egyptian League record goal scorer John Antwi to the Still Believe family.

“Antwi, who´s had a successful career across the continent and beyond, has already joined the club´s preparations for the 2023/24 campaign, with the CAF Confederations Cup preliminary round of matches also coming up later in August”, a statement from Dreams FC reads.

Antwi comes with huge experience in continental football having played for clubs like Ismaily, Al Ahly, Misr-El Makasa and Pyramid FC.

The former Sekondi Eleven Wise attacker is expected to play a pivotal role in Dreams FC’s CAF inter-club campaign next season.

Antwi has made a return to Ghana with a high profile as he remains the foreign player with the most goals in Al Ahly’s history.

Meanwhile, Dreams FC will begin their African adventure with a preliminary round clash against Milo FC on the weekend of August 18-20.
