Kudakwashe Mahachi: Medeama announce signing of former Orlando Pirates talisman

Kudakwashe Mahachi has joined Medeama on one-year deal

Ghanaian champions, Medeama SC have completed the acquisition of Zimbabwean international, Kudakwashe Mahachi.

As Getsportsgh.com broke the news on Monday, the former Orlando Pirates attacking midfielder has signed a year deal for Medeama ahead of the 2023/24 league campaign.

A club’s statement reads, “We are pleased to announce the signing of Zimbabwean­čç┐­čç╝ international Kudakwashe Mahachi­čĺ¬ on a one-year deal.”

Kudakwashe Mahachi addition comes as huge boost for the reigning Ghana Premier League champions ahead of their preparation for the 2023/24 CAF Champions campaign and the new football season at large.

He has become the latest addition to Medeama after the capturing of Kamaradin Mamudu, Benjamin Bature, Ibrahim Larbi and Richard Akrofi and a host of others.

The 29-year old has formerly played for SuperSports United, Mamelodi Sundowns, Orlando Pirates, Golden Arrows, Highlanders and Chicken Inn FC.

Malachi has been playing for the Zimbabwean national team since 2014, capping 44 matches with five goals.

He was part of the Zimbabwean national team that finished fourth at the 2014 African Nations Championship.

Mahachi scored his first goal for his nation in the aforementioned 2014 African Nations Championship and his second in a friendly against Malawi.

He is expected to strengthen the Medeama attack for the forthcoming CAF Champions League campaign.
