Kwabena Kyere Stugard will contest for Brong Ahafo RFA Chairmanship position

Renowned sports broadcaster, Dickson Kyere-Duah popularly known as Kwabena Kyere Stugard has picked nomination forms to contest for the Brong Ahafo Regional Football Association chairmanship position.

Getsportsgh.com can exclusively report that the highly-revered broadcast journalist cum politician picked his nomination forms at the GFA Secretariat on Monday, August 7, 2023.

In the football parlance, Kwabena Kyere Stugard is known for his in-depth knowledge in football administration, and even spearheaded the day-to-day administration of B.A United at a point in time.

He will be contesting the incumbent Raphael Gyambrah for the Brong Ahafo Regional FA Chairmanship seat in the forthcoming elections.

In other news,eight District Football Association heads in the Western Region have picked nomination forms for Simon Ehomah to continue his mandate as the Chairman of the region’s football industry.

Getsportsgh.com understands the eight picked the nomination forms at the GFA Secretariat in Accra, endorsed it and submitted the forms on Monday, August 7, 2023.

Simon Ehomah is seeking re-election as the Western Regional Football Association chairman when his four-year mandate end in October this year.

Ehomah has taken a significant step in his pursuit to lead the Western Regional football for another four years after the eight picked the nomination forms on his behalf.

The bankroller for Basake Holy Stars was elected as Western Region FA chief in October, 2019 with 41 votes, followed by James Asiedu Kaniyah with 28 votes and Mark Bismark Owusu with 26 votes.

He had 41 votes out of the 101 total votes cast in the election and took over the mantle from Kojo Yankah.
