BREAKING: Dreams FC sign highly-rated midfielder Francis Odoom

Francis Odoom has signed for Dreams FC till 2027

Ghanaian side Dreams FC have completed the signing of highly-talented midfielder Francis Odoom.

Odoom has signed a four-year deal for Dreams FC after completing a mandatory medical.

A club’s statement reads, “We are pleased to announce the signing of Francis Odoom for the upcoming season. The midfielder joins us from Topscout Football Academy.

“Odoom has committed his future to the club till 2027 after passing his medicals earlier this week. He has already joined his teammates for the preseason.”

Francis Odoom has become the latest addition to the Dreams FC squad after Steadfast FC attacking midfielder Sulemana Suweidu Suhiyini.

Suweidu Suhiyini has also joined the reigning Ghana FA Cup champions on a four-year deal ahead of the 2023/24 league season.

The two have joined Dreams FC as part of the club’s preparation for the 2023/24 CAF Confederation Cup campaign.

Dreams FC will be partaking in the CAF Confederation Cup after winning the last season’s FA Cup, beating King Faisal Football Club in the final.

Dreams FC will play Guinean side Milo FC de Kankan in the first preliminary round of the CAF Confederation Cup.

The Dawu-based club will travel to Guinea for the first leg scheduled for August 18-20, 2023 before the reverse fixture at the Accra Sports Stadium from August 25-27, 2023.

The winner of the tie will face either AS Dounes or Kallon FC in the final stages of the preliminary round slated for September 15-17, 2023 and September 29-October 1, 2023.
