Hearts of Oak have deemed striker Benjamin Yorke a surplus to requirements, with the club willing to offload him, can exclusively reveal. can report that Yorke could leave Hearts of Oak in the ongoing transfer window after uninspiring performance.

Benjamin Yorke was highly touted to solve the Hearts of Oak attacking problem following his incredible spell at FC Samartex in the division one league.

He joined Hearts of Oak in August, 2021 on a five-year deal from then division one league outfit FC Samartex with hopes of solidifying the club’s attacking front with his exceptional qualities.

Yorke showed some glimpses of his quality in the latter part of last season where he scored some number of goals, but understands Hearts of Oak are bent on offloading him to pave way for new additions.

Meanwhile, Hearts of Oak are expected to announce the signing of French goal poacher Stephane Ernest Bombelenga.

The 25-year old has reportedly reached an agreement with the former Ghana Premier league champions and expected to land in Ghana in the coming days to finalize the deal.

Bombelenga is joining Hearts of Oak to strengthen the attack for the 2023/24 league season.

He last played for UK-based Eastbourne Borough in the National League South which is the sixth-tier of English football.

Reports reaching indicate that Bombelenga is joining the Phobians based on the recommendation of the newly-appointed technical director of the club Rene Hiddink.

Stephane Bombelenga has previously played for Gosport Borough FC, East Grinstead Athletic, Metropolitan FC, Welling United, and Ipswich Town all in England.

Bombelenga also had a short spell at The Sportis Social FC Łochowo in Poland and expected to sign a year deal after a successful medical.
