Asante Kotoko set to sign this Chelsea duo

Ghanaian giants, Asante Kotoko are set to complete the signing of Berekum Chelsea duo, Getsportsgh.com can exclusively report.

The Porcupine Warriors have entered crunch talks with Berekum Chelsea for the signing of Henry Ansu and Kalo Quattara ahead of the 2023/24 league season.

Getsportsgh.com understands Kotoko have already completed talks with Berekum Chelsea for Henry Ansu and currently negotiating for striker Kalo Quattara.

Even though Kotoko currently have Steven Mukwala Dese, Isaac Oppong, Solomon Sarfo Taylor and Samuel Boateng as attackers, coach Prosper Narteh Ogum is keen on adding Kalo Quattara to the club’s attacking front for the forthcoming season.

Should the deal materialized, the duo will become the lastest addition to the Asante Kotoko squad after WAFA SC captain Michael Dwamena who has joined the Kumasi-based club on a permanent deal.

Dwamena has joined Asante Kotoko as replacement for former captain and midfielder Richard Boadu who has left the club for Al Ahly in Libya.

Meanwhile, Asante Kotoko have announced date for their pre-season ahead of the upcoming league season.

The former Ghana Premier league champions will commence pre-season on Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at Beposo Park in the Ashanti Region.
