Berekum Chelsea defender Henry Ansu is expected to undergo Asante Kotoko medical with the two clubs already reaching an agreement.

Getsportsgh.com understands the talented defender will be undergoing Asante Kotoko medical in the next coming days before signing a permanent deal for the club.

Henry Ansu is joining Asante Kotoko following his impeccable form for Berekum Chelsea in the Ghana Premier League.

Should the deal materialized, Ansu will be expected to strengthen the Asante Kotoko defense for the 2023/24 league season.

Getsportsgh.com can authoritatively reveal that Henry Ansu is joining Asante Kotoko based on the recommendation of the club’s head coach Prosper Narteh Ogum.

He will become the second player to join Kotoko in the ongoing transfer window after WAFA SC captain Michael Dwamena who has sealed a deal with the Ghanaian football powerhouse.

As Getsportsgh.com earlier broke thehe news, Dwamena has joined Asante Kotoko on a two-year deal with option for another year.

The talented midfielder has reunited with former coach Prosper Narteh Ogum at Kotoko, having worked under him at WAFA in previous years.

He has joined Asante Kotoko as replacement for Richard Boadu who left the club for Al Ahly in Libya.
