OFFICIAL: Dreams FC sack six players; Check them

Ghanaian side Dreams FC have announced the departure of six players ahead of the 2023/24 league season.

The reigning FA Cup champions have parted ways with the six players as part of squad planning for the forthcoming league season.

The players are; Lord Bawa, Maxwell Arthur, Kingsley Owusu, Samuel Arthur, Ibrahim Abdulai and Kwabena Gogoe Boahen.

A club’s statement reads, “The club expresses its gratitude to them for their services while wishing them good luck in their future endeavours.”

After winning last season’s FA Cup after beating King Faisal in the final, Dreams FC will represent Ghana in the 2023/24 CAF Confederation Cup.

The Dawu-based club will play Milo FC in the first the of the CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round.

Dreams FC will travel to Guinea for the first leg scheduled for August 18-20, 2023 before the reverse fixture in Accra from August 25-27, 2023.

The winner of the tie will face either AS Dounes or Kallon FC in the final stages of the preliminary round slated for September 15-17, 2023 and September 29-October 1, 2023.

And as part of preparations for the Confederation Cup campaign, Dreams FC are in the market searching for quality players to bolster their squad.

As reported few days ago, Dreams FC are close to signing Techiman Eleven Wonders goalkeeper Sulemana Adamu Rashid on a permanent deal.
