Super Clash: Hearts of Oak and Kotoko clash in December

Accra Hearts of Oak will play their rivals in Accra for the first leg.

Ghana Premier League powerhouse, Accra Hearts of Oak will host arch rivals Asante Kotoko on Matchday 14 of the betPawa Premier League at the Accra Sports stadium on Sunday.

The tie which serves as the first leg of the legged affairs is slated to take place on the weekend of December 8-10, 2023, in Accra.

The reverse fixture comes off at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on matchday 31 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on the weekend of May 24- May 27, 2024.

The Ghana Premier League kicks off on the weekend of Friday, September 15 to Monday, September 18 with the first round ending on December 29, 2023, before the league goes on a one-month break.

The break, according to the GFA is to make way for the 2023 African Cup of Nations which will be staged in Cote D’Ivoire from January 13 – February 11, 2024.

However, the second round of the season will kick off from February 23-26, 2024, at the respective match venues.
