Medeama sign Kamaradin Mamudu from Tamale City

Mamudu has joined Medeama on a two-year deal

Ghanaian champions, Medeama SC have completed the signing of talented defender Kamaradin Mamudu, can confirm.

Mamudu has joined Medeama on a two-year deal after passing a mandatory medical.

The talented defender was a sensation for Tamale City FC last season despite the team suffering relegation in the just-ended Ghana Premier League.

Speaking after signing the deal, Kamaradin Mamudu said, “I am very happy to be here and contribute to the drive of this great club. It wasn’t a difficult decision to join Medeama,” he told

“I am thrilled to be part of a group of talented players who won the Ghana Premier League last season.

“I know what it is needed to excel and succeed at such a big club like Medeama. I can’t wait to get started and contribute to the success of the team.”

His acquisition is to strengthen Medeama squad for the next season’s CAF Champions League campaign.

Mamudu has reunited with his former Tamale City teammate Godknows Dzakpasu – who has signed a three-year deal.

Meanwhile, Medeama will face Nigerian side Remo Stars FC in the first preliminary round of the CAF Champions League.

The Ghanaian champions will host the first leg at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium on August 18-20, 2023 before traveling to Nigeria for the second leg fixture on August 25-27, 2023.

The winner of the tie will play Guinean giants AC Horoya in the final stage of the preliminary round.
