Kurt Okraku’s mandate as the President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) will come to an end in October this year after ascending the throne four years ago.

Even though there are plenty jobs done by Kurt Okraku since taking over the seat in October, 2019, this article will centered on the numerous sponsorship deals brokered by the affable administrator as GFA President.

Ever since he was elected the GFA President, Kurt Okraku has secured over twenty-four mouthwatering deals for the revamping of Ghana football.

After a couple of seasons without a headline sponsor for the Ghana Premier League, Kurt Okraku and his administration broke the genes by securing a bumper deal with leading online betting company, betPawa. The deal worth $6million was aimed at properly marketing and positioning the elite league to become an African phenomenon as one of the most successful and attractive leagues on the continent.

Again, on November 2, 2022, the Ghana Football Association announced a lucrative deal worth $200,000 with the Ghana Oil Company (GOIL). The deal was to make GOIL the official fuel partner of the GFA. The contract was signed at the GOIL Executive Centre at Cantonments on the aforesaid date.

And in order to drive the football sustainability within a certain period and to give football fans a special service i.e dedicated pick up and drop off area, promo codes, very affordable discounted rates and to deliver to fans an incredible experience on match days, the Ghana Football Association secured a deal with Uber.

The Ghana Football Association also has deal with Access Bank as headline sponsor for the division one league, and Betway as the Official Development Partner for the Women’s Premier League in Ghana.
