Paa Kwesi Fabin joins Legon Cities as head coach

Former Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Aduana Stars Head Coach, Paa Kwesi Fabin has joined Ghana Premier League side Legon Cities FC as its new coach,the club announced.

Mr.Fabin who replaces Maxwell Konadu who left his role to Nsoatreman FC ahead of the new season duties take effective beginning the 2023/24 season scheduled for September.

According to a statement from the Accra-based club, Coach Paa Kwesi Fabin will begin his new role on August 1, 2023, with details on his contract be revealed soon.

Getsportsgh.com understands details of his contract will be provided at his unveiling ceremony which is expected to take place before the start of the new football season.

Announcing the capture of the experienced technician Deputy Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Legon Cities Kwabena Onyina Asenso welcome the coach and assures him of their inflicting support to succeed.

“We are excited to bring in an experienced coach like Fabin. He is a winner who has coached many big clubs at the highest level. We will provide him all the necessary support to succeed here. We are looking forward to having a wonderful season together,” he said.

The 64-year-old comes in with in-depth experiences in Ghana’ topflight football having managed clubs like Asante Kotoko, Accra Hearts of Oak, Inter Allies, Hearts of Lions and most recently Aduana Stars.

He has also handled Ghana Youth, the Black Starlet [U-17] sides as well as Uganda’s U17 and U20 side.
