I’m ready to play for Hearts of Oak – Stephen Amankona

The 23-year old is currently with Berekum Chelsea on a permanent deal

Former Asante Kotoko attacker, Stephen Amankona has expressed his desire to join Hearts of Oak in the ongoing transfer window.

The 23-year old is currently with Berekum Chelsea on a permanent deal after failing to impress at Asante Kotoko last two seasons.

Amankona was transferred to Berekum Chelsea in January this year, where he exhibited an impressive form in the just-ended Ghana Premier league.

And according to him, he has commenced talks with Hearts of Oak for a possible, stating he would love to play for the former league champions.

“Yes, some of their leaders, including Samuel Inkoom, have held talks with me,” in an interview with Ghanasporspage.com

“Accra Hearts of Oak is a big club, and I’m ready. The most important thing is the deal. If the deal is good, I will join them.”

Stephen Amankona was part of the Asante Kotoko team that won the Ghana Premier league last two seasons under coach Dr Prosper Nartey Ogum.

He joined Kotoko from Chelsea prior to the start of the 2021/22 league season but failed to perform and was sent back to Berekum Chelsea on a permanent deal.
