Former Kotoko goalie Felix Annan joins Carlton Town in England

The 28-year old has signed for Carlton Town FC  after stint with Maryland Bobcats

Former Asante Kotoko goalkeeper, Felix Annan has joined Carlton Town FC, a lower-tier side in England.

The 28-year old has signed for Carlton Town FC from Pass Move Grin Academy.

Carlton Town assistant manager Andy Clerk was excited after his side secured the signature of the Ghanaian goalkeeper.

He said, ” We at ctfc delighted to have Felix on board. Another great addition from pass move grin academy. Felix has been a breath of fresh air all preseason and has been outstanding in all the friendlies so far. Were sure he will quickly become a fans favourite.’

On his part, Felix Annan who is expected to take the Northern Premier League Division East said that, “I am delighted to announce being a Miller. It’s been a tough decision for me some couple of months now but I am happy, finally I found a new wonderful home and being close to my son, who I made this choice for. Can’t wait for the start of the season.”

Annan boast of huge experience, having represented Ghana at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.

He began his career at Gomoa Fetteh Feyenoord Academy now WAFA, before signing for Asante Kotoko.

In 2014, Felix Annan was loaned to Real Tamale United, going out on loan again to the West African Football Academy (WAFA) in 2015.

He made his Black Stars debut a 1–0 friendly defeat against Namibia in June, 2019.
