‘It was a dream come true’ – Robert Addo Sowah thanks Hearts of Oak family

Outgone defender of Accra Hearts of Oak Robert Addo Sowah has thanked supporters of the club following his departure from the rainbow club.

Addo, who became an integral part of the phobians after joining them in 2016 had his seven-year spell with the Phobians come to an end on a mutual consent on Wednesday, July 19, 2023, following the expiration of his contract.

In an emotional farewell to the club, the bulky defender expressed gratitude to the former Ghanaian champions and indicated that his dream to don the red, yellow and blue jersey was fulfilled.

“It was a Dream-come true to feature for the Rainbow family. I am who I am because of this Great Club.“

“I would like to thank the Board, Current and Outgone Technical team, Playing Body and Supporters of this amazing club for everything they have done for me. I couldn’t have come far without them all,” he said.

The 29-year-old defender ceased the opportunity and wished the rainbow club the best of luck in their endeavours.

“I dedicate all the good moments I had at Hearts of Oak to the fans and wish the club the best of luck,” he expressed in an emotional farewell to Hearts of Oak.

He becomes the second member of the team to leave the Accra-based side in the ongoing transfer window after Gladson Awako.
