Our national teams have improved significantly under Kurt Okraku – Randy Abbey

The various Ghana national teams have had a massive improvement in the last four years says Executive Council member of the Ghana Football Association, Dr Randy Abbey.

According to the highly-revered football administrator, this is as a result of incredible strategies put in place by GFA President Kurt Okraku and his administration.

Even though there is more work to be done, Randy Abbey believes the improvement has been significant under the administration of Kurt Okraku.

“There has been a significant improvement with our various national teams under Kurt, but there is a lot that needs to be done differently”, he told Takoradi-based Spice FM in an interview.

With this, Randy Abbey believes Kurt Okraku deserve another four-year term as GFA President.

“Kurt Okraku deserves another opportunity to do much better work for our football”, he added.

Kurt Okraku will have his tenure as the GFA President coming to an end in October this year and would seek for a second term in office.

Meanwhile, former GFA Vice President George Afriyie has publicly declared his intention to contest for the top seat in the forthcoming elections.
