Official: Manhyia announces the dissolution of Kotoko Board

This comes after the three-year mandate of the board led by astute businessman Dr Kwame Kyei.

The owner of Asante Kotoko SC, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has officially dissolved the board of the club.

This comes after the three-year mandate of the board led by astute businessman Dr Kwame Kyei came to an end earlier this month.

A statement confirming the dissolution of the board says that the mandate of the management of the club has also ended concurrently.

The decision of Manhyia was communicated to the board when they submitted their report to the overlord of the Asante Kingdom on Tuesday, July 18, 2023.

The Asante Kotoko Board was made up of the following personalities; Dr Kwame Kyei- Chairman, Mr Jude Arthur- Vice Chairman,Kwadwo Boateng Gyamfi, Kwasi Osei Ofori, Alhaji Lamin,Kwamena Mensah and Joseph Yaw Addo.

Other members were Miss Evelyn Nsiah Asare, Baffour Kwame Kusi, Mr Kofi Amoah Abban,Mr Martin Osei Kwaku Brobbey and Mr James Osei Brown.

Meanwhile, multiple reports in the media indicate that Dr Kwame Kyei has requested to lead the club again with Mr Kwasi Ofori and Ringworld Oil Company MD Kofi Amoa-Abban also in the picture.
