Fatau Dauda: Ex-Black Stars goalkeeper joining Hearts of Oak

Former Black Stars goalkeeper, Fatau Dauda is close to joining Hearts of Oak as the goalkeeper’s trainer, can exclusively reveal.

Sources disclose that Fatau Dauda has reached the apex of negotiations with the Ghana Premier league heavyweight with the two parties set to reach an agreement.

Fatau Dauda has been deemed as a perfect addition to the Hearts of Oak technical department considering his vast experience as a goalkeeper.

The 38-year old is currently the Ghana U-20 goalkeeper’s trainer.

Before retiring from active football, Fatau Dauda had played for clubs like AshantiGold, Orlando Pirates, Chipper United, Enyimba and Legon Cities FC.

He capped 26 matches for the Black Stars from 2008-2015 and was in the Ghana national team squad for the 2008 Africa Cup of Nations, and was the first choice keeper for the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations edition of the tournament.
