2024 Olympic Games: Black Queens thrashed Guinea 4-0 to book qualification to next round

A five-star performance from the Black Queens of Ghana saw them thrashed their Guinean counterpart 4-0 in the second leg of the first-round African qualifiers for the 2024 Olympic Games.

The victory for the Queens means they overcome their opponents in a 7-0 aggregate to advance to the second phase of the qualifying rounds.

In the game played at the Accra Sports Stadium on Tuesday, July 18, 2023, two goals from Evelyn Badu, Princella Adubea and Fridaus Yakubu was enough for the Black Queens to record a commanding victory.

Evelyn Badu scored in both halves before Princella Adubea and Fridaus Yakubu added to their names on the scoreboard to seal a 4-0 win at the end of the 90 minutes.

The Black Queens will now face either Guinea Bissau or Benin depending on the winner of their tie.
